Live Exhibition Cycle Begins: First Exhibition Opened in Čakovec

The organization Kultivator has opened the first in a series of exhibitions in the walls of the Old Town (Bedem Staroga grada) in Čakovec. This exhibition combines the memories of older generations with the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence.

The exhibited visuals were generated based on the stories of elderly individuals and their memories of rivers, landscapes, customs, and everyday life in the past. A specific story is tied to each visual; therefore, we invite you to view the exhibition, read the accompanying educational texts, and listen to the audio recordings that served as inspiration for their creation. Through these materials, the public can learn about the preservation of intangible cultural heritage and environmental protection.

The exhibition in the Old Town walls can be viewed until the end of the month, after which it will be relocated to the premises of the Public Open University Čakovec (Pučko otvoreno učilište Čakovec).

As part of the project’s implementation, exhibitions will be organized in three partner countries – two in Croatia, and one each in Slovenia and Serbia. Information regarding the opening dates and locations of the remaining exhibitions is available on the partners’ websites.
