The Mura flowed windingly here. That lasted until the authorities started exploiting the Mura for energy, and they straightened it in some parts. So, here too, they ‘burali’ (demolished/straightened) or straightened the Mura. By doing so, they closed the side arms. The Mura became faster and faster because it was straight, and thus deepened its bed. So much so that some wells that used to have water, no longer have water, because the water level of the Mura River is lower now.
