Floods were regular because the Mura was not regulated. There were floods every year; it flooded all the way to the houses. But it wasn’t experienced that way, because it was known that the water would recede… It wasn’t like that. Somehow, nature and the laws of nature were accepted. I remember that, the floods, yes. But with an acceptance that it would pass.
