After the hot but busy summer months, the HER[AI]TAGE project team gathered again for an online meeting. We are delighted to announce that over the summer we have collected and transcribed more than 60 life stories of elderly people, full of valuable traditional ecological knowledge (TEK). In the coming weeks, we will start editing these statements to prepare them for a digital database that will be publicly available this autumn. Next year, a real educational treat awaits us: the creation of an interactive collection of stories which, supported by generative artificial intelligence, will make the collected heritage even more interesting and accessible to all generations. The collected stories are not only interesting, but also extremely educational, offering insight into sustainable practices and coexistence with nature. We invite you to continue following us for more news about our progress!
